Doi Chaang Coffee is a meticulously prepared, cleaned and sorted Arabica coffee produced in the highlands of Thailand. Doi Chaang coffee is Fair Trade and organic certified.
Growing elevation: 1,200 to 1,600 meters (4,000 to 5,200 feet)
Catimor is no longer being planted and is being phased out of production. Forty-two varieties are in test planting, most notably Gesha.
Harvest: Strictly selective hand harvesting; no stripping.
The Doi Chang Village community sits on a mountainous hillside within the Chiang Rai province of Northern Thailand. The Doi Chaang Coffee plantation covers more than 6000 acres and is surrounded by lush old forest growth, fresh flowing spring water and breathtaking mountain views. With the high altitudes, ideal climate and perfect soil conditions, Doi Chang Village is one of the premium regions of the world to cultivate and process Arabica coffee.
