Named after Mount Elimbari, which is the highest peak in the Chimbu province of Papua New Guinea. This Elimabari A is the top coffee produced by Kongo Coffee Company, one of the country's leading coffee export companies. Local smallholder farmers (often producing only 30kg a year) bring the best of their parchment coffee to the Kongo company where they meticulously inspect the moisture content and the amount of defects.
Well rounded, smooth, richly aromatic, low acidity, hint of apricots and plain chocolate. Any sweetness is plum-like with flavour imparted on the roof of the mouth and back of the tongue. A long lasting aftertaste and clean finish with a smooth silky body.
