The judges comments were as follows…

“With neat and even medium roasted beans and a rich chocolate aroma, this coffee has some balanced acidity. With milk added, it tones down the acidity, making it a more rounded character.

As an espresso, this is very sweet with high acidity. We noted grapefruit peel and pith, caramel, nuts and milk chocolate. It has high tactility in the mouth. To improve the standard, this could have a fuller body as it gets slightly lost in milk. Overall this is very pleasant to drink.”
