GSC pop's up at the Glasgow Barras

Glasgow’s coffee scene is about to get a whole lot livelier as Gordon St Coffee takes its next big step out from our temporarily closed roastery (yes we've still not gained access to the building) and straight into the heart of one of the city’s most iconic institutions, The Barras Market

Known for its bold brews, laid-back attitude and unmistakably Glasgow sense of humour, Gordon St Coffee is popping up among the chaos, colour and character of the Barras, bringing top-tier coffee to a place better known for antiques, vintage treasures and the occasional unexpected bargain you absolutely didn’t go in looking for but somehow can’t leave without.

Expect the smell of freshly ground beans cutting through the soundtrack of market traders shouting thier deals (cigarettes & viagra 😆) , vinyl crackling from nearby stalls, and the general beautiful organised chaos that makes the Barras what it is. This isn’t your polished city-centre café experience, this is espresso with edge, wee cappuccinos with character, and flat whites served with a side of patter.

The pop-up will showcase Gordon St’s signature blends, with baristas pulling shots as quickly as traders call out “two for a tenner” next door. It’s coffee culture meeting Glasgow culture head-on,  no pretence, just proper good coffee served with energy, warmth, and a bit of mischief.

Whether you’re browsing vintage jackets, hunting for records, or just dodging rain under the Barras arches, this new pop-up gives you the perfect pit stop. Strong coffee, strong personalities, and a setting that could only ever be Glasgow.
So mind and swing by,  because the Barras just got its best brew yet.
